During 2008 this gallery is being extended to include new images of the Lake District, Northumberland and Scotland.
David will be exhibiting at the following venues during 2008: There is an exhibition of some of my best images at the newly opened lakeside gallery, which is on the first floor of Coniston fudge Company's new retail outlet on Lakes Road, Coniston ( follow the signs for the Gondola and turn right before the bridge over the Church Beck. Hope to meet you at these events. Price Reduction From the 14 August 2007 the price of a 20"x16" colour or mono print on canvas has been reduced fron £112 to £95. . August 2007 ITV's programme set out to find Britain's Favourite View. The winner was Wastwater with Bamburgh Castle a close runner up. I have photographed both places and my images appear in the Colour gallery and may be ordered on this secure E commerce site. The article shows some of David's Autumnal lakeland landscapes COCKLEY BECK - A Celebration of Lakeland in Winter by John Pepper First published in 1984, the book immediately won a Northern Arts award and was recently listed in the Guardian alongside the Wordsworths, Coleridge,Ted Hughes, Laurie Lee and others as one of the greatest classics of British nature writing. Now republished with a plate section of arresting photographs by David Briggs ARPS. Following the delivery of ten canvas images, including two triptychs, to John Lewis Partners hotel in Ambleside the Images were featured in the John Lewis partners weekly magazine. Quote "Guests in the dinning room at Ambleside park won't just be looking at beautiful views through the windows from now on: they will also be able to appreciate the Lake District's stunning scenery by looking at the walls following the purchase of a series of dramatic images of the local landscape as part of the room's recent refurbishment".Feb05.
